WHO WE ARE. A HIKING FAMILY.

Growing up I enjoyed hiking the local trails of Western NY State with my parents and friends. As a father I plan to hike the 46 High Peaks of the Adirondacks with my family.  Right now, as my daughter is still quite young, I set my sights on achivements closer to home. I set a goal of hiking all the non-paved trails in Chester County, PA. Working towards this goal my friends and family have joined me regularly.  I soon realized that sharing these adventures with them and others would benefit us all.  I started localHikR as a way to encourage others to get out and hike with their friends and families.  LocalHikR provides detailed reviews of trails hiked so that visitors to the website are able to find trails that fit their needs before leaving their homes.  I look forward to sharing my family’s adventures with all those who visit localHikR.com.
